New Book Release: Coronation (Kid Sensation #5)

It is with great pleasure that I announce that Coronation (Kid Sensation #5) is now available!  It took a little longer than expected in terms of getting it ready, but I will say that Amazon appears to have made the book available in record time. (Seems like it was up within 2 hours or so of me hitting the "publish" button.)

I've never had a book published that swiftly.  Honestly, I didn't expect the book to be up that fast, so they kind of caught me unawares in terms of my marketing. (I was still putting together the message for my mail list, among other things.)

I'm thinking maybe there's an automated process on weekends - as opposed to human reviewers - so it got published a lot faster.  (Hmmm.  Making a mental note to only publish on weekends in the future...)

Regardless, I'm extremely happy with the speed of the process, as I know that readers have been eagerly anticipating the next book in the series.  I had a lot of fun writing it, so I hope fans will get just as much enjoyment from reading it.

Anyway, no rest for the weary, as they say. On to writing the next book!  (And the next, and the next, and the next...)  My thanks to all my readers for your support.

  5. Are you planning on putting any of your books an audible? I'd really love it if you did. I'm a truck driver and I listen to audible books as I drive to help pass the time

    1. Who have you been talking to??? LOL. The answer to your question is "Yes," and you have impeccable timing. I've already started the process and the first book is actually complete. (On ACX it says the audiobook is "Headed to Retail." This is my first audiobook so I don't know exactly how long the process takes, but I'm assuming it will be up for sale soon.) In fact, if you look at the Amazon page for "Sensation," it says that the book is available in 3 formats, although it only shows two - ebook and Kindle.

Long story short, the first book in the series should be available as an audiobook any day now. I was waiting for that to happen and then was going to announce via a post on my blog, but you've forced my hand. ;>) The overall plan is to release all of my work as audiobooks (as quickly as possible, I might add). You may be the first to have asked me the question directly, so thanks. Knowing that even one reader would like my work as an audiobook makes me feel justified in my decision to do it.

    2. Correction: the 2 formats Amazon shows for "Sensation" are ebook and paperback.

  7. I'm going to take that to mean you enjoyed it - thanks! That said, I really hate putting a date on these things because I've been busting all my deadlines of late. Let me just say that I expect it to take noticeably less time to write the next installment in the series than the last one.

    1. I guess I didn't think of that ending as a cliffhanger; it was just supposed to leave the future pregnant with possibilities (although it does hint at the shape of things to come). Regardless, I'm glad you enjoyed the book and will keep'em coming.

  10. I loved the new book and I wish so hard that I knew who he will actually end up with. Its a title eafy to ask but when do you think the nextvone will be out? I shall continue with questions that I doubt I will get answers to. What are mouse's powers? How old is Jim actually now that he went back in time and was in that statue for millennia? How long is his ligespan? What are elctra and smoke screen's real names? What is alpha prime's real name? What was Jim's mom's superhero name? What did megaton go by? Does Monique have kids and how many? What was indigo's mom's name? I am done. I have note but I think the spelling errors might make it hard to understand in its current state.

    1. LOL! I welcome questions, but I can't promise to answer those relating to future plots, as that would involve spoilers (eg, Mouse's powers will be revealed in a companion book). But trust me, al will be revealed in time.

Anyway, I'm glad you enjoyed the book. As to when the next one will be out, that's tricky because I don't want to jinx it, but I plan to write it faster than the last one.

    1. LOL. I'm glad you enjoyed them. As I mentioned elsewhere on the blog, the audio of Book 5 is in production, but we're slightly behind schedule. Hopefully, we'll be able to get it out soon, but the earliest release date will probably be in December.
