So someone just asked if there was a cover yet for Mouse's Tale. As a matter of fact, there is. I guess I just haven't really thought much about a cover reveal for the book. I've done it once or twice in the past, but I suppose I should make it a staple of new releases on a going-forward basis. Anyway, since I aim to please:
As to the book itself, it's back from the editor and once again in my grubby little paws. I intend to review it as quickly as possible and then get it to my formatting guy. With any luck, it will probably be released some time in the next week.
Needless to say, I'm super-excited about the book and hope readers will enjoy it.

ReplyDeleteLOL! That's not Mouse... Much as with the Kid Sensation books, I chose to put another character on the cover.
ReplyDeleteI guess i understand why you would put a different character on the cover of each ks book as the character is usually someone important from the story but i just would have thought that for a book about mouse specifically you would have put him on the cover (like electra in amped)? Im sorry i just didnt understand and also have to admit that i really want to know what he looks like because up to now i picture him as some muscly guy essentially covered in fur (like a mouse) whose power is to shrink to the size of one! :-)

DeleteAs to putting Mouse on the cover, I had a tough time visualizing a concept that would do him justice. He's a pretty unique individual, so I decided to go in another direction rather than risk selling him short.
I didn't expect the book to be out that soon and I'm having trouble waiting. I reread them before I read the new one every time and now I'll have to do all of them before this one
